Sweet cover-scene dps!
Ants are always annoying at the beach ;)
I used to own this and it is a gorgeous DPS. I'm not sure if you were told this when you got it, but the panel with the JLA has two different inkers. Nick Cardy inked Black Canary and Aquaman, while Murphy Anderson inked the others.
Awesome piece! And as the song goes, "Big girls don't cry!"
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall, I wanna be a slave
To you all
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Chain-store chain-smoke
I consume you all
Chain-gang chain-mail
I don't think at all
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Thrash me crash me
Beat me till I fall
I wanna be a victim
For you all
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall, I wanna be a slave
To you all
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Bind me tie me
Chain me to the wall, I wanna be a slave
For you all
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
Oh bondage, up yours!
Oh bondage, no more!
"I attempted to rise, but was not able to stir: for as I happened to lie on my back, I found my arms and legs were strongly fastened on each side to the ground; and my hair, which was long and thick, tied down I the same manner. I likewise felt several slender ligatures across my body, from my armpits to my thighs. I could only look upwards, the sun began to grow hot, and the light offended mine eyes. I heard a confused noise about me, but in the posture I lay, could see nothing except the sky."
Definitely a WONDERFUL re-imagining of Gulliver's Travels. Ooh la la, and Ha cha cha!! Really love this, congrats!!
I was stunned by this when Michael Browning posted it (for sale?) years ago and I'm still stunned by it today. Also helps that I own a copy of Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane #111 because bondage & bikini 😊
The look on Black Canary's face.
Small as a tablespoon
You got this spread for two
One thing they've got to do
The Justice League
Bound and drugging you
One mile to every inch of
Your skin of Lois Lane
One pair of candy lips and
Your gigantic tongue
And if you want art
They'll make it
Sleep in bikini
On beaches
Take all your big gams
And shave 'em
You're bound to be a while
Your body is a wonderland
Roth Cardy and Colletta, It's art by hands
You probably dream of Superman
Awesome DPS featuring so many great characters in their "earlier" days. Nice find, congrats!
I feel like this is a metaphor for cosplay and con fans lol
what a super interesting page!
Chock full of Heroes, nice! Lois's boob is bigger than Aquaman! Clark Kent is going to have his hands full, literally
This is awesome - Lois does seem to be having a nice dream per lower left inset...nothing like some kink in your comics!
Im not the biggest roth fan ever but this is indeed pretty solid art. That first horizontal panel establishing the action is quite clever and superbly done.
Definitely a fun piece. I love the pattern on the swimsuit. Huge congrats!
I was thinking to myself "huh, some of these look a little Murphy Anderson-esque," right before I read your description. That's a lot of talent on one sweet page. I love that maniacal look on Canary's face in panel four. Fantastic DPS. Congrats!
Werner Roth is another artist of great renown. I wish his Lorna, the Jungle Girl art available...that stuff was gorgeous! Beautiful page with lots of great facial expressions!
What a delightfully naughty Double Splash! Werner Roth definitely is an underrated artist...
Well, the Cardy inked faces are superb, but I think Vinnie did a great job on Lois' face and the rest of the page. I love the second panel, giving a worm's-eye view up Lois' face. So much fun.
