Description

Absolutely stunning advance movie poster painting for the 1987 movie �Harry and the Hendersons�, featuring John Lithgow and Kevin Peter Hall (as Harry). Steven Spielberg served as its uncredited executive producer, while Rick Baker provided the makeup and the creature designs for Harry (the movie won the 1988 Academy Award for Best Makeup). This beautiful painting is on 87,5cm x 56cm illustration board, with the art extending all the way to the borders. According to the notes on the back this was finished December 1st 1986, while the movie opened June 5th 1987�

Good choice not to spoil the look of Harry. Struzan is able to bring movie magic in a single image. It is a testament to his genius.
