DescriptionThe third panoramic panel of this strip is one of my favorites in the entire Pandemonia sequence. Huong Luong the Red Dragon (the militant Chinese Red Guard) was one of the more spectacularly-drawn creatures in Pandemonia, and Gwhan Shi Foah (Mao) was one of the few caricatures to appear in actual human form in the run of the strip.Thanks to Thomas Ward for this beautiful strip. Congrats on this wonderful Pandemonia daily...I used to own this at one time and remember well how spectacular it is... :-))

Looks beautiful as this opens up the story for Pogo to visually go into an adventure fantasy realm while still rooted in topical discussion. You can connect how Jeff Smith and other artists took inspiration from Walt Kelly in strips like this.
