Description
I am not really a big Swamp Thing fan or reader of his comics, but I do dig a flashback origin story page when I can grab one.

Stunner of a page. Tom Yeates did terrific work on this title.

This is a stunning origin recap page with Yeates' beautiful lush inks that contain more detail in a horror book than a superhero book we could hope for.  It shows how passionately inspired he was with this genre and title as you'd rarely or never see this kind of effort.

It's a real shame you've never been a big Swamp Thing fan, as the origin retelling would feel all the more special to you, James, but it's still cool that you can appreciate it regardless! I love Tom Yeates's work.

You are so right. Getting a page from a comic you are immersed in 10x's your satsifaction when scoring some art from it. Even more so when there is some story signifcance to the panels. I may have to go read some now and grow it post acquisition.

Flashback pages, particulary origin ones, are some of the best pieces!  Digging those 2 top panels.  Congrats, James!
