Just picked this up at the Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention. Always nice to get another cover to a Philip K. Dick book, this one by Doug Beekman and it is for the novel "Time Out of Joint" published by Belmont Books in 1977.

The colors of the piece is striking. A lone space ship travelling across a barren land hit constantly by twin suns. The isolated cities and sanctuaries from the elements are just off to the distance. It speaks to us not noticing the nature around us and how we should preserve what we have.

Cool cover to a classic book! The heavenly bodies and atmospherics near the top got lost a bit in reproduction, so it's great to see the full painting here.
