Chameleon Boy and Brainiac 5 join with Element Lad and Shvaughn Erin to uncover the secret of the Legion impostor; Meanwhile, at the Legion Academy, the students are all hoping to be considered for the chance to become the newest Legionnaire, but it's decided that none of them are ready. Nice use of zip to keep that interior from be too sterile an environment. Lots of that Giffen action and drama thoughout.

To me, this was the absolute peak period for Giffen/Mahstedt on Legion! Beautifully drawn page!

I Totally agree. There was something special going on during this time . It was like catching lightning in a bottle ! And who doesn't wish they could sign up to attend the Legion Academy

Giffen's style at this time was so perfect for the material and nothing has ever come close to it.
