DescriptionAnother of John Byrne's best images of Jennifer in all her strength. And Al Gordon's inks really adds to the feeling of the weigh on Shulkie's shoulders and her straining.Social/Sharing |

Killer She Hulk example! I can't think of another She Hulk page I'd rather have... such a great image! CONGRATS!

Even under strain, the She-Hulk looks great. Congrats.

Form, fit, and function all in that compact Byrne manner showing She Hulk in her lowest moment and literally in the pits. A classic in the Byrne FF era with the Al Gordon inks to muddy it up for even greater emotional toll on her.

Maybe not in the colors, but the strain she is showing in the water gives her a very distressed look that is far from the ideal look. Makes the drama even greater.

I thought you were talking about my Inks making it look muddy. I'm still annoyed at Shooter for insisting we Inkers put an inordinately THICK Outline on everything... which to me makes the Inking look muddy to me... sigh.

Excellent splash on so many level. Byrne's She Hulk remains unsurpassed.

A stunning splash! Inked beautifully by Gordon, too.

I remember really being blown away by this page when the book first came out. Love the Gordon inks as well.

Wow. This has to be one of the best Byrne She-Hulk images. So much detail.
I often find She-Hulk OA a little underwhelming for the lack of green, but this one is the opposite, so lovely in B&W, all details are apparent. Congrats!

Well, its actually Jennifer at her weakest but she recovers from the mental conditioning so it does not last for long.

Awesome and intense image! While Byrne re-defined Shulkie with his lighter touch, it's easy to forget that he did some powerful stories with her in FF too. This was a great one--congrats!

Hard to top IMO for a Byrne OR She-Hulk piece! Really got all you want in terms of pure illustration, details, impact, and really speaking to the essence of the character! Congrats!
