Description
I've always wanted a page from this story, as I love the way Deadpool was written here. Never thought that I'd be able to get my hands on the exact page I desired the most. "What's so great about this page?" I hear you ask. Well...

Deadpool is notorious for narrating his own actions out loud, leaving everyone around him confused, and it's usually attributed to him breaking the 4th wall to talk to his audience. This may be the first instance where the narration stems from him telling a story in the future and his narration transcends time to enter into the flashback itself. He's written as being fully in control of his mental faculties but by the end of the story you wonder if that's the case at all. Cool story and awesome art... I highly recommend it if you love Deadpool.

Add to that the inclusion of the rest of his squad of assassins from the story Silver Sable, Domino, and Bullseye. Plus you have sweet pencils from frequent Deadpool cover artist Jason Pearson and smooth inks by Dexter Vines.

This page has it all for me.

Thanks a lot, John. I almost went with another piece from this series a few months back but if I had then I probably wouldn't have gotten this one. Patience is definitely a virtue.

Pearson is the man for the job with so much neat and tidy work for this strike team mission in the jungle.  Deadpool looks right at the point because of healing factor.

I'm fairly late to the Jason Pearson party but everything of his that I have gone back and checked out I wind up loving. And yes... Deadpool is the perfect point man with the healing factor you mention but also his fearlessness.
