Description

This is Cover C of "GFT 10th Anniversary Special: Van Helsing", which doesn't exactly trip off the tongue. Possibly surprised they'd survived for an entire decade, Zenescope Comics felt the need to celebrate this accomplishment. In 2015, they published six different one-shots, each focusing on one of their major characters.

Typing this, I realize my Alice in Wonderland cover is from Zenescope's 10th anniversary, too. Once again, I picked up Cover C.

But I digress. The publisher�s press release sold the story as Liesel Van Helsing meets H.G. Wells. Besides being a snappy dresser, Ms. Van Helsing is also an inventor. When her time machine is accidentally sent into the future, she finds herself face-to-face with the Morlocks. If she was surprised, just imagine how the Morlocks felt.

I hadn�t heard of artist Mike Krome until a review highlighted this cover as the reviewer's favorite. Mine, too.

Very cool imaginative crossover of two literary titans of horror and fantasy! Krome's artwork captures the dress and steampunk science with high precision.

Congratulations on a beautiful piece. Liesel is one of my favorite characters and Mike consistantly draws her at her best!
