DescriptionThis was the first published piece I ever bought. I simply fell in love with it. I wasn't sure at the time what did it for me, and I suppose I'm still not positive, but I'm not too caught up with figuring it out. It elicits emotion, as art is meant to do, and I'm thrilled I get to have it up on my wall (shoutout once again to the incredible framesmiths we frequent, who did a particularly wonderful job with this piece).Social/Sharing |

Wow! Love this! Plays on chess need be a singular theme amongst covers and this one is truly justified. Congrats!

Done in the chessboard tradition of comics, this has the themes of the gods of fate in control of your next move with death in the form of the noose and the reaper coming for Wonder Woman.

Well I can't say what may have done it for you, Emily, but I personally have always loved the checkerboard motif in comic illustration. A fabulous piece, congrats!
