Dynamo 5 #01 p 10 - Mahmud Asrar

Dynamo 5 may have been the first Image book I read regularly. Jay Faerber did great work during his long stint with the company. And, this book gave many of us our first look at Mahmud Asrar's storytelling chops.

A fun family book with a bit of a convoluted backstory, Dynamo 5 had some great characters and really solid storytelling. This action page with Slingshot is a great example. I like seeing examples of the early work of artists and you can see that even though he was working some things out, Mahmud already had the makings of a fantastic artist.
