Description
I was pleasantly surprised when this popped up - I always wondered where all the 1980s black and white art is. I remember liking Black Cross quite a bit back in the day so was happy to pick this page from DHP#1 from Black Cross' first appearance.

This is the last page of the first issue story and features Black Cross saying his 'name' for the first time in the last panel of the episode. Black Cross is featured on the cover (see additional image) but Dark Horse Presents #1 is also Concrete's first appearance - I have a character theme gallery for this more popular character.

Very grim and gritty 80's action hero themes shown on the page.

I always wondered why they call them heroes when they are just mass murderers. What about the grieving families of all they kill? The art is superb. Always liked his work.

He wouldn't live up to the name Black Cross otherwise.

Nice pick up Mark. Obscure but certainly memorable to those of us who took a chance on it back when it came out. Presents nicely.
