DescriptionAnd so it begins, the birthing of a Spider-Man/Carnage hybrid for the first time! While we don't see the final result until the following page, many would likely call this a "birth page". That said, the reason I was attracted to this particular piece wasn't for its historical significance, but simply because I love the dynamic duo of Mark Bagley and the ever amazing Spider-Man! Pages like these are gems for me. While I might've read 60's, 70's, and 80's Spider-Man during the 1990's, only getting to that last decade years later, Bagley's art encapsulates the web-slinger's essence to me; only more so as I've grown older!Social/Sharing |

At some point, people begin to realize how Bagley has defined the Spider-Man character for more issues than anyone else during the 90's-00's era no matter who else they promote as a big Spider-Man artist. Through the good and bad storylines, he was defining the character every drawing on every page.

An excellent "content quality" page, no doubt, by one of the greatest Spidey artists of all-time, and certainly the most prolific. Kudos!

Though I'm thrilled to own the next page after this one with the final terrifying result of Spider-Man and Carnage merging into one, this page is so freakin' exciting with all those transformation images. Bagley is such a master, and this page totally rocks. Congrats on addfing this gem to your ever-growing collection! (Someday maybe we can get our two pages together in the same room, lol)
