DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!13.75x18.5" watercolor paper has mixed media original art by prolific and renowned Spanish Marvel Comics cover artist Rafael López Espí. Cover is for the Spanish graphic novel Los Inhumanos, which reprints US Inhumans #5-12, Captain Marvel #53 and was published in Spain by Excelsior Marvel Comics, ©2001. Paper is oversize w/art showing an original composition based on art from the US issue cover #11 by Herb Trimpe/Dick Ayers. Great image of Pursuer w/scepter bursting through a fiery wall and defeated Inhumans in background. Signed by Espí. Art area measures 11.25x16.5". Paper has some minor edge wear but o/w art remains bright, clean and Exc. A wonderful example from when Espí's art dominated covers of Spanish Marvel comic books, featuring one of Marvel's more popular teams. Superb and dynamic cover art. Comes w/reading copy of the Spanish graphic novel this cover art was created for. Social/Sharing |
