Really strong portrait in the Joe Kubert style. Having taught at he school, there is infuence there that Sears channels in how fierce Sgt. Rock's determination comes across.

Before reading who the artist was, I thought this was a Joe K. Examining this closer and I definitely see Sears' style. I love how detailed this is. It is rough and rugged just as Rock should be.
