Description
It's 1986 indie b&w funny animal cheese with Mark Bode's Miami Mice #3 title page 1 from the Rip Off Press imprint. I can feel the satire in the air tonight, Oh Lord! The satire of Miami Vice TV show and the Ninja turtle phenomenon has a police station dojo, Edward James Olmos - Marty/Chief, Philip Michael Thomas - Tubbs/Stubo, Don Johnson - Crockett/Rocket, and even Ronald Reagan - POTUS/Ronzo Ratgun. True to the outsider sensibility, this page touches upon Reagan's war on drugs. Vice ran from 1984-1990 on NBC, so this was when the MTV cops show was hitting it's stride in the top 10 ratings which was a surprise for a Friday night time slot. I got this from some guy who bought it at San Jose Comic Con 2021 from Bode.

Haha, the United Snakes Of America. Cheezadians.  Liberats.  Love all the funny "name play" on this page.

If it was Friday night in 1986, I was watching Sidekicks and Sledge Hammer! over on ABC.  America was so into Miami Vice that they never gave the duo of Gil Gerard and Ernie Reyes Jr. a chance.  It still makes me sad today.  That being said, Bode did a great job with this satire.
