The cowl and the cape are pure Rogers. The architecture really sells the piece. When Marshall got the background details going you got character perfection. This is a good as the early Detective run covers. Congrats.

What a stunning Dark Knight cover by the late great Marshall Rogers! Love this classic scene of Batman swinging down towards the heavily armed villains while they take pot shots at him. Love Marshall's drawing of Batman--He's very physical on this cover, every muscle straining as he swings down from on high. Gorgeous inks by John Cebollero really add depth to the drawing. Love the thick black shadows of Batman's cape and the intricate detailing of the cityscape behind him. Funny, but I also love the muzzle of the rifle closest to us that puts us on the same level as the gunmen. Great, great pick-up, congrats!
