My knowledge of MtG is pretty limited, but I do know that this is a fantastic painting!

Serene setting here.  Have it framed on the wall, and when having a rough day, take a look and exhale :)  Another great MtG add, Steve - congrats!

I'm torn as to how to start this comment...
1) "Manna, this is a great piece!"
2) "The rich and sumptuous colors on this are just Magic, manna!"
3) "Do you know the Muffin Manna?"

...and while I can't explain that third one, those first two are no brainers.  Superb composition and lighting come to play here, making one hate those fast-paced rounds that go by too quickly to allow one to study the art on the cards mid-game.  I wouldn't consider myself any type of an authority, but it really seems to me that MTG has really defined fantasy gaming art for the last couple decades at least (possibly even more than AD&D?  Interested to hear your thoughts on that!), but a piece like this really transcends the genre because of its incredible beauty - any collection would be honored to have it, and it is a wonderful add to your already amazing treasure trove of fantasy gaming art.  At the risk of saying the same thing over and over again (I would hate to be called... mannatonous...?), this is simply, magically, magnificent, Steve.  Sincere congrats, my man!

Totally agree that MtG is more visibly at modern fantasy art's vanguard, given the sheer number of new sets... plus nearly all MtG players tend to engage each release, which generally isn't the case with the D&D crowd.  Food for thought!
