So much detail throughout the entire page.  I can't believe I'm just now discovering Perkins work.  Congrats!

Oooh killer page!

Wowie wow wow WOW, Mike Perkins continues to amaze and astound.  This page probably took him three days to draw!  As you point out, such a sharp contrast between the organic plant-like Swamp Thing and all those iron gears and other industrial stuff.  Is that Swamp Thing forming from those tentacles that are coming out of the gears?  He appears fully formed there at the bottom, so I'm not sure.  But what a great last panel!  Fantastic add!

EPIC pickup! Perkins shows his mastery of mechanical and organic form in one fell swoop!

Ludicrous page... stark juxtaposition of Swamp Thing and the mechanical gears is something I haven't seen.  What an embarrassment of artistic riches here.

Super page!  Love how Perkins constrasts machines and organic textures and forms in this outstanding series

I love the tilted angle of the last panel. It introduces some dynamism in a scene that is static by definition.

I feel like if still alive, Hans Ruedi Giger would swoon over this piece, a worthy successor to his biomech-megafauna. At the very least I envy this piece! God I love Perkins on this book. I wish there was more coming! Congrats!

Very reminiscent of Totleben's work on the classic Swamp Thing #60. A lot of the best Swamp Thing stories have come from placing Swampy into built or nonorganic environments outside of the swamp (the multiple Gotham-set stories, for example). This piece is so effective because Perkins gradually introduces more and more organic elements with each successive panel until that magnificent bottom half of the page with a fully realized Swampy. Great stuff. I'll need to put this new Swamp Thing title on my reading list after it's concluded.

Thanks for the generous offer, Jason. I've bookmarked the series on DC Universe Infinite Ultra (or whatever it's called) to read later. That service has been a real lifeline for me because I do like to keep up with what's coming out of the Big Two, even if my reading interests have taken me to different material of late.

Man, there are so many outstanding pages from this run and this one's right up there!  Perfect example incorporating the green and the industrial, and that rendering of SW moving through the gear, then reincorporating?!  So awesome.  This page really does have it all, Jason.  Congrats!

I feel like I'm seeing a next level mind at work when looking at this page.  Perkins is amazing.
