Description
This was my biggest score of SDCC 2022. I have always wanted a Dave Finch cover from something significant to me, and the Walking Dead comic was indeed that. Now they are reprinting the issues in color instead of the original b&w, and getting new artists to do covers. Finch turned in something spectacular and I am happy to have gotten this. The detail in this cover is incredible as always, and features a lot of the main characters from the early run of WD. Of course Finch's gore detail is top notch as always.

This was won during the CBLDF Live Art Auction at SDCC 2022. The bidding got pretty heated for this one but I was able to bring it home. :)

The Finch style turned to horror is very effective in bringing every detail of the rotting skin and flesh of the undead to the fore.

Finch's work is phenomenal in general, but he excels with horror. You inspire me to go to the art auction at SDCC next year because this is a real beaut along with all of the other pieces you added to your fantastic collection. Love this.
