Description
In the lead up to SDCC I was worrying I would miss the email to get on Nick’s sketch list. Thankfully I saw the email immediately and jumped on the list. Man did Nick knock this sketch out of park. Not only is there an action shot of Ahsoka in Nick’s distinct style but there is a remarkable amount of Stormtroopers she is mowing through. I also really like his limited use of white in the foreground to help create depth and draw the eye to the main subject of the piece. And all of this in only a 6x9 space? Incredible. Easily my favorite acquisition of SDCC.

That's definitely Ahsoka's style of handling the lightsaber right from the Clone Wars animation and definitely the Stormtrooper style of point blank shooting.  Dragotta uses a manga-esque samurai style with the dramatic angles at play and the screentone signaling that this is meant to be seen in b&w only.
