Description

My second Kull of Atlantis piece by Ned Dameron this year! Ned painted as the back cover and an interior illustration for the Donald M. Grant edition of Robert E Howard's "Kull", published in 1985. In addition to the back cover, it appeared as a double page spread on pages 212-213. This is easily one of the best, most lavish illustrations Ned did for this edition. The image was also later used as the cover art for “Das Auge der Götter” (The Eye of the Gods) by H.G Ewers, published in Germany by Weltbild in 2000.

Definitely lavish with the look worthy of the monarch! The treasures, frames, and decor rival the throne rooms of the most wealthy nations as there must be plenty of sunken treasures accumulated over the centuries.
