What if…Kull the Conqueror had been awake during Fool’s Night (commission based on a Kull story from Savage Sword of Conan #135)

As mentioned in the liner notes to my King Conan page, one of the first Marvel comic books was a Conan / Kull the Conqueror double feature which was printed here in Germany under the “Marvel Comic Sonderheft” moniker which my mom bought me in 1987.
The Kull story was Chuck Dixons and Val Semeiks “Fool’s Night”. Imo a phenomenal written story with astonishing art.
Naturally I searched for an original art page to buy. That plan didn’t work. Through a internet search I found more out about Val Semeiks and the best thing is, he has a website and does commissions. I contacted Val if he would do a commission based on the Fool’s Night story and he accepted. We worked together how the page could look and you know what? In the end out came two commissions.
The title of this commission here is: What if…Kull had been awake during Fool’s Night?
The other commission is called: The morning after…

I can really really recommend getting a commission from Val to all who are interested in his art. Look on his website. He’a an absolutely great guy and you get a lot for your money.

Each commission comes with a thumbnail sketch, a layout sketch, a digital composite, and the finished drawing, pencils and inks by Val.
