DescriptionNew Excalibur was a pretty good X-men spin off written by Chris Claremont that came at a very down point in the comic industry .. 2007 was just about when I stopped consistently reading the titles but I do recall this series fondly.. so getting this cover would be a win either way, Larocca was at the top of his game here… the art is just beautiful. The Photo realism of his characters on this cover are just mind bending. And it has that movie poster feel that I love in a comic cover. Thanks Jim W for letting this one go!Social/Sharing |

Looks like Juggernaut defated Colgate Jr. with his big chompers! The Charlize is a great focal point for the multi collage of a composition.

My favorite Claremont-written series of the 21st century. Spectacular cover by Larroca. I've loved the guy's work since he was first paired up with Claremont on Fantastic Four.

Agree 100% on the awesome photorealistic art by Larroca but also keeping to his style and look. Great cover piece with lots of x-cellent characters.

Nice montage-y movie poster feel to this one, and love all teh rendering and tones. We don't get that on every Larroca piece. And love the big toothed, big grinned Juggs in the back :) Congrats!
