Description

Large art. An unpublished page from an attempted revival of the popular early 1960's-1970's comic, which preceded the 1960's Lost In Space TV show of the mid-1960's. The Robinson family on the show differed from the Robinson family in the comic.

The show on repeats was still popular aftershcool fare in the early 80's. As anything sci-fi was popular in the wake of Star Wars which created a glut. This has great storytelling already and would have stood out if they were able to use the show's look and actor likenesses.

Dan Spiegle, who excelled in realism with lots of detail, and was the artist of the comic in the '60's, would have done a stellar job had the comic version rebooted or switched to the characters and likenesses of the actors on the TV show.
