Warriors of Plasm “Home for the Holidays” Graphic Novel #1, page 43 (1993)

Defiant Comics in 1993 looks a lot like late 1970s Marvel: Cockrum on art, with a story by Len Wein, overseen by editor-in-chief Jim Shooter. This sci-fi story concerned a colony of humans stranded in another dimension highly invested in organic tech, including cloning. Previously in the Plasm saga, the well-coifed protagonist Lorca has overthrown a tyrant and claimed a throne which he now finds tedious. Plus it's Christmas, and the humans are feeling homesick. In this scene, he is about to receive a tempting proposal from his enemy concerning his long-lost love Laygen.
