Now that's a splash! Love the 3D effect of Iron Man's fingers extending outside of the panel border. That's the kind of fun stuff that the old school comic book masters did just to amuse themselves.

Has the great Kirby style that Trimpe was using for the figure work to make it break out of the borders, plus highly detailed backgrounds to play into the Marvel cosmic connection of the mid 70's.

Trimpe is in my opinion a very underrated artist and that's a great example.
