Unknown Superman Daily

This daily is a mystery to me. The story arc appears to have Superman married to Lois... he comes home, hangs up the cape... and it appears that she is about to tell him she's pregnant. But there is no date on the daily. The strip looks to be from the mid-1940's, and I'm not certain of the artist. Tthese strips have never been reprinted so I have no idea of the story. But note the last panel, too. It was drawn backwards. I removed a stat which was the mirror image of this making Superman's "S" the right way round.
