Description

Iron Man “Untitled” (Iron Man Arms Crossed) 28”x 44”
Hand painted with Acrylic, Latex, Enamel on floating wood panel.

His work often contains a unique blend of propaganda and consumerism. He collaborated with Marvel Studios in 2013, bringing to life the Mandarin's propaganda campaign and artwork displayed throughout the film.

This Iron Man art was recently featured in the gallery event, The Life & Art of Bob Layton at the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery in Tampa, FL. The unique multimedia event covered Layton's works throughout the decade.

Collaborating with Layton, International Artist, Ales Bask Hostomsky, premiered several new works inspired by Layton's storied career.

It actually looks like a metal plate was etched by acid to achieve this.
