With Yanick's recent run of covers on Knights of X, I really wanted to get a character from the current incarnation of Excalibur, a favorite book then & now.

Reaching out ahead of time, he saved me a spot on his list and knocked this painting of her out of the park.

Thrilled to have him in the sketchbook on a key character for me.

Pacquette has gone digital for published, so pieces like this are great to see as it shows he still has those skills if he ever had the time to go back and draw by hand. Looks amazing with her armor and position of the sword in line with her figure.
