Great sketch from 1989 when he was in the middle of his superb DD run with writer Ann Nocenti (1988-'90) ! I still simply love how he drew The Kingpin but regular published pages from this run are sadly hard to find and quite unaffordable, especially with this voluminous baddie! Look up my other JrJr pages if you like what you see here ! In my „Art for sale" CAF gallery I currently offer a DD pinup by this modern master, by the way.

The size contrast is fantastic as Kingpin is more than a match against Daredevil. It looks like the it came right from the pages JRJR did with Williamson with that linework.
