Description

The Age of Apocalypse dropped a few months after I started reading X-Men on the regular. Combine this with the fact the crossover was such a compelling read with amazing 90's art makes it one of my favourite storylines of all time. I was a big fan of the costume redesigns.

I would love to add more art from the original series but I also couldnft pass up on these Alvin Lee pages from the 10 year Anniversary either. Alvin's anime inspired lines are a nice homage to Joe Mad's penicils on the original Astonishing X-Men book.

Some of the background detail was finished digitally. I need to work out how I can craft some overlays to maybe include the missing art.

Looks as bold as anything from the original AOA event itself. Great how the DPS goes wide and deep in scope of the shot pushing Sabertooth towards us and extending back towards Rogue.
