Description

Man, talk about dumb luck! One of my prized possessions is my copy of Starman #80 signed by James Robinson. I brought it to SDCC that year to get it signed by Tony Harris, since he'd done the cover. As I'm wandering around the DC booth, I notice a slender fellow approach a DC staffer and initiate a conversation. The staffer than says into his headset, "I've got Pete Snejbjerg here. What table are we putting him at?" Zoinks! Pete took over the primary art chores on the series after Tony left. I got Pete to sign my copy of #80 and do a sketch! Yay! Seriously, what are the odds that Pete would be there, all the way from the Netherlands, the same year that Tony's there? I was a happy cheese, to be sure.
