Description

Made my annual trek to Fan Expo this year and was immediately drawn to Caanan Grall�s table. Caanan, of Max Overacts comic strip fame with 502 entries and counting, had some really fun pieces, packed with humour and I couldn�t resist grabbing a Moon Girl & Devil Rancor mashup from his portfolio. I emailed him after the show regarding a Prey commission the only catch being he hadn�t seen the film. Well, he made that a priority, enjoyed the film and turned this around in short order. Great experience from beginning to end.

Mikey! I never heard of Prey either, but I just watched the trailer and the scene where the girl is being chased by the bear kicks ass! I think I'll check it out. Really nice illustration, by the way!

Has a real vintage quality about it. Impressive you got an artist to watch a film to create a comission. congrats!

Very interesting commission. Beautifully drawn image of a girl on the tree branch awaiting her prey. Cheery colors provide an startling contrast for the grim image. Congrats on the pick-up!
