Description

David Nakayama did a variant cover for Black Cat issue 1 (a homage to one of J Scott Campbell’s Mary Jane covers). I really liked the outfit that Felicia was wearing in that cover, so I commissioned David to draw a bust version of it with Felicia lifting up her shirt, but still leaving the “Meow” visible.

Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about the result. A part of me likes it, but another part of me doesn’t. I guess it must be the cat ears or something.

Love this, personally- but I totally understand pieces that make you feel like that!

If it helps- I feel it's a beautifully perfect example of Nakayama's style, and a very nice Felicia depiction.
