DescriptionThis is Iban Coello's original artwork for his Steve Ditko tribute cover, marking Spider-man's 60th anniversary as a variant cover for ASM volume 6 issue 8.I had the pleasure of speaking with Iban about this piece at NYCC. It represents that underneath every modern Spider-man drawn, is Ditko's original influence. Iban actually drew both a Ditko-style version of this cover, as well as his modern version of Spidey. He then proceeded to physically tear apart his modern version to create the "torn away" effect of the piece. The original is a beauty to behold as a result! Social/Sharing |
