Honestly, I'm not too familiar with Caitlin's work, but I liked the samples I saw and I'm still in the manic acquisition phase of my X-Men sketchbooks (I think I'm exiting this phase).

Corey at Cadence came through arranging this pre-show and I gave Caitlin a bunch of characters for her to choose from. She wasn't too familiar with X-Men overall, which made it a bit more fun.

Choosing Blink, she delivered a delightful illustration of the character and taking a chance paid off.

Very pleased with this entry in the book and look forward to keeping an eye on Caitlin's work in the future.

Blink was all the rage after Age of Apocalypse crossing into 616 after the event. It was right at the time some superstar artists were on the uncanny X-Men which made her even hotter!

This black and white beautiful rendering of Blink has the appeal of Mystique. This is the first time I've connected these two and makes so much sense for so many reasons. As if she is the offspring of Sinister and Mystique. Gorgeous piece of a character I really enjoy!
