This issue is from the "third stage," which ran for 58 issues. Offered here is the cover to SOS #54, published in 1983. 10-1/8x14-3/8" artboard features mixed media original art for cover, featuring zombified monks w/shackled and terrified woman (akin to the Spanish/Portuguese Blind Dead horror film series). Art is unsigned. Title/issue number in pencil at top margin. Some lt. tape staining at top corners as overlay was once attached. Art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this cover art was created for.
