Description

"Crazy Keller" by Garth Ennis, created by Alan Hebden and Eric Bradbury. The pages are the artist's inks over his blue lines.

German tank shell misses Scoot 4, which had swerved into the turn-off, and hits a Waffen S.S. vehicle chasing 'Crazy' Keller from the opposite direction.
Corporal 'Aerial' Arkin: "We lost the monster, but the others are still comin'! I bet they're really pissed!"
Keller: "Aerial, get me Bobby Williams at the Nine-Thirty-Third. We oughta be in radio range by now."
Bobby Williams: "Well, well, if it ain't my old pal Keller...!"
Keller: "You open for business on this fine mornin', Bobby?"
Bobby: "Oh, not so fast! Word goin' around is you're a lousy risk all of a sudden!"
Keller: "If this is about that idiot LEE--"
Bobby: "No more airstrikes in exchange for cases of schnapps, buddy, the great Captain Keller is a busted flush...!"
Keller (hangs up): "SCHMUCK!"
Aerial: "Cap'n, what if the next bridge we come to's out of commission as well...?"
Keller: "Isn't there a metaphor for that very eventuality?"
