Keller: "I'll say this for you, Prof, you're a very difficult man to impress..."

Professor Lent: "I suppose that's true. The last six years have been overwhelming; if I let any more sensation through I might well go insane."

Keller: "Yeah?"

Prof. Lent: "My son, Albert, was obliterated somewhere on the Russian front. The English burned my grandchildren alive along with much of Hamburg. Perhaps I seem cold. But it is the only response to the reality of daily life that I can muster."

Keller: "You mean...?"

Prof. Lent: "The war, and what it yields."

Aerial: "Tell me, prof, um...what is it you're gonna be doin' for our government? When you get to the States to start your new life, I mean?"

Prof. Lent: "Exactly the same thing I did for the Third Reich, I imagine."

Aerial: "Yeah, that figures."
