DescriptionThere are many hallmarks of the series in this nice preliminary for the "Almanacco della Paura 2001" cover: Dylan in his office, holding his old gun, a beautiful damsel in distress, a haunting (and maybe not completely human) figure lurking in the dark...Fine painter and illustrator, Angelo Stano is the graphic creator of Dylan Dog (born from the brilliant imagination of the writer Tiziano Sclavi), of which he drew the first issue, in 1986, and many others, from then. Also, he has been the official cover artist from 1990 to 2016. (pencil on paper, 11" x 8,5" - signed) Click HERE to see all Stano's art in my Gallery Social/Sharing |

Thie definitely amps up the atmosphere of mystery and intrigue! For such a lonstanding character, a touch of the sinister darkness through his character can always be a possibility.

Splendide matite di Stano, molto dettagliate (bello vedere il segno del Maestro così al "naturale"). Eccellente acquisizione, come tuo solito!

I love the noir atmosphere of a prelim that could definitely be a finish work.

Bellissimo preliminare, le matite sono molto interessanti, mi piacciono i volti e l'equilibrio generale della composizione con la simmetria centrale costruita sulla scrivania di Dylan.. tra ombra a sinistra e luce a destra..
