Superman #18 (2013) Unused Story Page 10

In this scene from the "New 52" version of Superman, Clark Kent attends a raucous rooftop party organized by Cat Grant. This version of the page prominently features a DJ with a turntable. Perhaps someone found this visual to be dated, since the published comic book omits the DJ from this page but later shows him working exclusively with digital music. Or perhaps the framing made the rooftop setting insufficiently clear; I initially thought the scene took place at street level. The published piece has three dozen figures in the main scene and yet looks less crowded due to all the empty floor seen from that angle, whereas the unused page looks like a solid mass of dancing bodies.
