Was able to get a funny story out of this book. Bought this second hand and it's dedicated to 'Cory'...my name is not Cory.

Got to meet Jim Lee at a convention earlier this year but there was a book limit that I could get signed. Figured I'd try asking if he could cross out Cory and write 'Erik' but not have it count as one of my books. He hesitated and his manager jumped in and said no so I got my other books signed and called it good. As I walked away Jim yelled out "Bye Cory" with a big smile and laugh.

Update:
Got to meet Jim Lee again the next year and he agreed to change the name. He seemed giddy wanting to make the change. I assumed he would just cross out the 'Cory' and write 'Erik' next to it, but he had other ideas. He started asking people around us their names and stated writing names and crossing the off, before adding mine and highlighting it with white. He seemed like he wanted to continue but his manager pushed him to keep the line moving. All in all a great interaction with the legend, very generous with his time and conversation.
