Great pickup, Disnesh! This represents the comic that brought me back to comics after a hiatus in elementary and middle school because... Nintendo. After this book I gave up video games and baseball cards and became a closested comic book nerd all thru hs. I wish this was the regular cover. Imagine opening the black bag and pulling this out?

Very nice cover! Not often you see Supes so bloodied. I also love how the tattered cape almost takes on a surrender flag trope. Nice pickup.

Perhaps one of the most iconic pieces of art around, this is up there with X-Men #1 (both 1963 and 1991), Spider-Man in Black Suit and Dark Knight cover. I remember getting this TPB before I ever got any single issues at PRICE CLUB the precursor to COSTCO. It was one of the most eye catching covers that I had no idea how much of a comic adventure it would put me on and a lifetime of collecting and reading comics; which led me into a career into making comic book movies, specifically doing a variation on this very iconic scene on set for BATMAN V SUPERMAN. Huge congrats doesn't say it enough!
