Holding this page makes me speechless. This art has held a special place in my heart since I first read the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. I can still vividly remember being awed by Young Scrooge's love and wonder of nature's beauty, only to be interrupted by his quest for money and power. Don Rosa's masterpiece has many pivotal points in Scrooge's life and this is one! I still know that Scrooge loves nature but is trying to convince himself that he will succeed at any price! This is my grail piece of comic art and I would have sold my entire collection to get it but thanks to a close friend, and selling some pages I now hold in my hands, a dream of a lifetime!
