Description
How expressive can a hand be? When Bernie Wrightson is holding the pencil, extremely expressive.

Hands are not easy, but Wrightson made them look so. This one is circa 1976 when he was drawing The Edgar Allan Poe Portfolio, and, more specifically, The Premature Burial.

Simple though it may be, Wrightson kept this sketch for a reason.

This masterful sketch definitely deserves a hand, maybe even a standing ovation.  Congrats Mark!

Most serious comic art students would know immediately this drawing came from the mind and hand of the great Bernie Wrightson. Such a distinctive style.
