Description

As the year comes to an end, we kick off the X-Men Cover Recreations Class of 2022 with an absolute banger from Yo Kuri with his reimagining of Uncanny X-Men #200.

I brought up the idea to Yo at NYCC and he was game to tackle a cover recreation, requesting it included Colossus. Providing a few options, he decided on UXM 200, my only request he apply his personal style.

He creatively reimagined the cover, putting intense focus on a wistful Magneto while all hell breaks loose behind him.

Just a stunner, rich with heavy inks & emotion!

I get Yo Kuri to get things done
Oh, it's pen and brush, add some X-Men fun
All he really gotta do is draw his style
But I'm in a hurry to post tonight

Don't know why, I think he had a blast
My art is milestone issue
It's all new
But it'll do. X-Men two hundred, Yo comes through, oh

I get Yo Kuri to commission
Oh, his loving touch will thrill this trial run
All he really gotta do is magnetize
But all in Yo Kuri's own dope art line

Can't be late, he draws with plenty of time
Makin' fans 'round the clock
He can't stop
Yo's on a roll, and he's ready to rock
