Description
Reached my goal of posting 52 pieces in 2022. Setting the same goal for 2023, with more regularity. In the meantime, I will finish off the Bart Sears series of sketches with these last two.

Wildcat, long time member of the JSA, A world-class heavyweight boxer turned superhero. A natural pose for JSA brawler. Bart definitely went with a certain style with Wildcat. Looks cool. Dated 2009. Andy Smith blueline inks on a separate board.

You know what I find interesting about this one? First, that Sears drew him with a more "athletic", stretched out torso and elongated legs. Second, stylistically speaking it actually reminds me a lot more of Brian Stelfreeze's work than Bart's. I like when artists bring something a bit different than the norm in a simply pinup, so these are both positive things in my eyes.

Wildcat's physique is really lean and leaves no fat for fuel if the fight goes 12 rounds.  Sear's strategy for him is to go for the knockout fast!
