A dramatic page featuring the the death of a recurring character near the end of the Micah Synn storyline. I've always loved Mazzucchelli's panel of the wide-eyed Horatio Piper, as well as the final panel's: "You MURDERED him--!"

This page's first panel almost seems to be a precursor for the cover's foreground of DD #229 (Born Again storyline).

Although nicely inked by Danny Bulanadi, I am grateful for Mazzucchelli's graphite lines that are still very much visible on this page.

The rollercoaster of emotions captured inside this standalone page is amazing from the first panel to the last.
