DescriptionHere we have a very welcomed addition to the collection. Since I believe Robert Frey was never going to give up the finished cover to Avengers 71 (check out his gallery) I got the next best thing. I actually didn’t even know this prelim existed. I’ve envied Robert’s cover for years so when this came up I had to go for it. There are some aspects to the layout that I like even better than the final piece. Finally a JG Jones in the collection. It's always a crapshoot if it's ever good to buy a prelim. When the chips are down, something this sharp and close to the final piece has it's own significance.

Love the sense of scale! And hard to believe it's a prelim as seems quite tight! Congrats!!
